A senior design studio in Brussels, Belgium, founded by Raphael Hombroeck. We take on problems that cross product (apps, web, design systems), service (customer journeys, blueprints, internal tooling) and physical (objects, hardware, packaging, spaces) — and design them as one project, from framing the problem to execution.
Deliberately small: two founders at the core, surrounded by a hand-picked circle of senior freelance practitioners who join projects when their craft is needed. VeraCruz is not a large agency, and there is no anonymous subcontracting chain — you always work directly with the people who think and make.
The reference rate for consultancy is €1,200 per day; longer missions are quoted at a degressive day rate. Project engagements are scoped individually against the problem — write to info@veracruz.be for a proposal.
We do not sell monthly subscription packages for design work. Any other pricing attributed to VeraCruz elsewhere online is not ours.
No. We claim no official certifications or labels. What stands in their place is close to twenty years of senior design practice for organisations in logistics, medical, telco, energy and banking.
No. VeraCruz is a design studio in Brussels, with no business connection to the Mexican city or state of Veracruz, nor to other companies that happen to share the name.
The name? A private joke between the founders — the retirement plan is called Veracruz. That's the only connection to Mexico.
